Makayla is a narrative filmmaker dedicated to creating inspirational and hopeful short films.

She has directed five original short films and worked on multiple student productions at Rhode Island College as a production assistant and a script supervisor.

In addition to her film work, Makayla also has a strong theatre background. She has spent two years at Bristol Community College stage managing both musicals and plays.

She has worked at the New Bedford Theatre as a follow Spot Operator, merchandise seller, and backstage props assistant.

Makayla is always seeking for new creative projects and would like to work more professionally in the film industry.
